Missoula’s
Climate Catalyst Fund
We leverage donations to accelerate local climate solutions, directly benefiting our Missoula community.
Current Campaign: E-Bikes for YWCA Clients
Help us raise $15,000 by year-end to provide e-bikes, locks, helmets, tune-ups, lights and safety training to the clients of Missoula YWCA.
“Reliable transportation is a major barrier for many of our clients. The Catalyst Fund’s initiative will not only offer independence and cost savings for the families and survivors we serve, but it will also have a positive ripple effect for overall community health.”
-Becky Margolis, Communications Manager, YWCA
This funds advances energy savings and clean energy projects that otherwise wouldn’t happen. Join us.
1. You contribute to the fund, providing new resources.
2. We realize building improvements or clean energy for low-income homes and housing projects — upgrades that wouldn’t happen without your investment. This might look like:
Above-and-beyond weatherization
Extra insulation
Purchasing more cost-efficient appliances
Supporting the installation of solar
And more!
3. We tell the stories of local projects that build resiliency and momentum.
4. Energy costs & pollution go down, benefiting us all.

The Climate Catalyst Fund is a program of Climate Smart Missoula.
It gives individuals, businesses, and nonprofits a way to turn their capital into meaningful local climate action by supporting projects that reduce emissions.
In turn, it enables fund recipients – developers, builders, and fellow nonprofits – to incorporate energy efficiency, weatherization, and renewable energy into housing and other buildings, upgrades that wouldn’t be possible without this catalytic support.
The Climate Catalyst Fund fills a critical gap, making impactful projects happen right here in our community.
